The \fBtpage\fR script is a simple wrapper around the Template Toolkit processor.
Files specified by name on the command line are processed in turn by the
template processor and the resulting output is sent to \s-1STDOUT\s0 and can be
redirected accordingly. e.g.
.PP
.Vb 2
\& tpage myfile > myfile.out
\& tpage header myfile footer > myfile.html
.Ve
.PP
If no file names are specified on the command line then \fBtpage\fR will read
\&\s-1STDIN\s0 for input.
.PP
The \f(CW\*(C`\-\-define\*(C'\fR option can be used to set the values of template variables.
e.g.
.PP
.Vb 1
\& tpage \-\-define author="Andy Wardley" skeleton.pm > MyModule.pm
.Ve
.SS "The \fI.tpagerc\fP Configuration File"
.IX Subsection "The .tpagerc Configuration File"
You can use a \fI.tpagerc\fR file in your home directory.
.PP
The purpose of this file is to set any \fIglobal\fR configuration options
that you want applied \fIevery\fR time \fItpage\fR is run. For example, you
can use the \f(CW\*(C`include_path\*(C'\fR to use template files from a generic template
directory.
.PP
Run \f(CW\*(C`tpage \-h\*(C'\fR for a summary of the options available.
.PP
See Template for general information about the Perl Template
Toolkit and the template language and features.
